Acrylic on mdf, with imitation gold and silver leaf.
The first painting using my brand new set of oils. I made the frame too, with wood and copper leaf.
The composition owes a big debt to Cezanne, but was also inspired by a random arrangement of apples on my kitchen counter.
Acrylic on board. This is a portrait of Joldine. Based on a photo taken by my then-8-year-old son! The title is an oblique reference to the Leonard Cohen song. It sounds better than 'Joldine with Bunny'. Collection of the artist.
